Gale Anderson

My mother Gale was diagnosed with this terrible disease on April 14/14. Upon hearing the news she didn't want to hear any of the stats etc. She wanted to fight this thing head on. It's just the way she was. Together with my three siblings and father we made all of the arrangements etc for her to begin her battle. She had a port surgical implanted for her Chemo treatments as this was her only option having being diagnosed at already stage 4.
We arrived for her first treatment only to find out that she was fighting 2 different infections and wouldn't be able to receive Chemo on this day.
Unfortunately, as much as mom wanted to, she never got the chance to sit back into that Chemo chair again.
She passed away peacefully with all of her loved ones by her side on June 16/14.
Mom was the greatest wife, mother, and Nana/Grandma that any of us could've ever asked for.
She helped me with everything in life, and made me the man that I've become today.
I will never ever forget her, and I'm very grateful for all of the wonderful memories that she made sure we all had before she had to go.
We all miss her dearly and always will. But we are at ease knowing that the terrible pain she had to endure is no longer there, and she dancing pain free with all of her family and friends that made the trip before her.
We love you mom, always will. And thanks for continuing to watch over us.
Love Jeff
