Pancreatic Cancer Canada

Dear Friends, steve jobs

PANCREATIC CANCER CANADA mourns the recent loss of Steve Jobs, an American Legend and a Visionary and Canadian Nobel Prize Winner, Ralph Steinman. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their families.

Their passing is a harsh reminder of the relentlessness of this deadly cancer and the lack of early detection methods and effective treatment options. We believe that the only way we are going to conquer this disease, is through a continued commitment to fund research.

November is recognized as National Awareness Month. It is the time to shed light on a disease that, despite being the 4th leading cause of cancer death in Canada, remains years behind other leading cancers in research, early detection methods and treatments.

We invite you to join us in our efforts:

  • Wear a purple ribbon or bracelet to raise awareness
  • Educate your friends about the harsh facts of pancreatic cancer
  • Make a donation
  • Volunteer
  • Get Involved. Do something that you love to do … walk, run, bike, bake or host an event. We provide the tools on our website to help you create your own fundraising page
  • Attend one of these upcoming fundraisers to officially kick off National Awareness Month:

Thursday November 3rdQuest for Awareness - Gardiner Museum – Toronto, Ontario – To Purchase tickets – charityevent@questrental.com

Friday November 4th –    2nd Annual Purple Party – Winnipeg, Manitoba – To purchase tickets - http://www.eventbee.com/v/purplepartytickets

Together ... we CAN make a difference!

Sincerely,
